BolsterArts Residency offers two artists a transformative opportunity: a rent-free studio space in the heart of Chinatown, visits by museum curators, foundations, galleries, and writers, and exhibition opportunities. Juried by esteems folks like Emily Edwards, Amy Rosenblum Martin, Daniella Rose King, Dejá Belardo, Dr. Margarita Rosa, and Aida Valdez, this residency program highlights the voices of artists who are driven and are seeking a thriving career in contemporary art.

We’re seeking to raise $15,000 to sustain this vital program and empower emerging artists. Your support will directly fund:

• Studio Rent Costs: Enabling artists to focus fully on their work without the burden of dual rents

• Exhibition & Art Handling Costs: Giving artists the chance to present their work professionally in a gallery setting

• Curated Studio Visits: Providing exposure to influential curators, collectors, and critics, building meaningful connections for the artists’ futures. Past visitors have included Hannah Traore, Flag Art Foundation, Less Than Half, the Brooklyn Museum, and many more.

More than just a space, this residency is a pathway for artists to immerse themselves in their practice, only a short walk from Tribeca’s vibrant gallery scene. BolsterArts stands by the artists, advocating for their vision and giving them precious time to complete new bodies of work.
